Usually not needed. Great food and people though
I'm really not sure if you can I would think so.
Not a super large selection, but still nice selection. We enjoy eating here.
Most things. You have to ask.
I get takeout from Chapala about twice a month. The food is consistently good and my order is usually correct, which is more that I can say for the other local Mexican restaurants. Tony and the staff there are friendly and take the time to get to know me... Which sounds weird for a place I normally just go in to pick up food, but they're truly good people who care.
The only place in Weaverville that has heuvos con chorizo, and it's phenomenal
Good food, good atmosphere. Small place. Indoor or outdoor dining me. Take out.
Always love this location! It never disappoints!!
Best tortilla chips around.
By far my favorite Mexican restaurant. Great food and service everytime.
Good food, good service...economical. family owned and operated.. their pride in their food shows with every bite. Highly reccomend...
Personal friend of the owner, been going to Antonio’s since 2006. Always excellent food and service, the beans are to die for!!! Moved here from California, where they have quite a few Mexican Restaurants, this the BEST!!!!!
Best in town! Best food, best margaritas! And occasionally some great live music too! 👍👍👍
I’ve known Antonio and his family for many years, and they’re a fine, upstanding family. If they miss judged the character when hiring an employee there’s no reason to blame the entire family.
Quick,and friendly..very good Tex Mex,with reasonable prices
Open for dine in and carry out. There are a few tables outside.
The food is amazing and the staff is so polite. I go here at least once a week!
Fantastic food and service!
Best place to eat in Weaverville!
One of the most authentic Mexican restaurants I have ever been to! It's like if Coco became a restaurant! ❤️
Good food, friendly people, and not bad prices.
We are hard working people in this town and wanted to just have a nice dinner and this experience was horrible. No service and when we did have service that I had to go ask for, she was even ruder. I don’t understand how people can be in the service industry and treat their customers so poorly. Very disappointing
Honestly in the top 3 of my favorite Mexican restaurants and I've been to a ton. from Mexico the States to Canada. Server was professional and when I asked what she recommended she knew exactly what was her favorite out of each category. You can't go wrong eating here. My girlfriend and I will definitely be back sooner than later.
We love being allowed to bring our little dog with us to the outside patio! Wonderful food and great service.
The food was not pleasant to the eye or the taste bud.
I like eating here. Good service. Quick food delivery.
Chapala is a family run business with great food and friendly service. The seating is limited so there can be a wait at times. But it is worth it.
They always have the best margaritas!
I have been coming here for two years. Nice food and large menu with all the usual suspects. Food comes out hot and delicious. Lots of lettuce delicious white cheese and guacamole. Large portions. The worst thing that has happened is it took a long time to get our food once, had to ask.
The fajita nachos were quite messy, the fajita part was not cut enough for the nachos. After trying the cheese sauce, it was very watered down and tastes like "fake" cheese. The place also needs a dusting immediately, many surfaces were coated in a thick gray film.
Great food. The guys working there very personable. We enjoy the food and environment. Small restaurant but best in area.
Love these guys! This is a family owned and operated restaurant, yet they make you feel like family as well! Job well done!
I have eaten at this restaurant for a few times along with my family and friends. Customer service is good. The menu is long enough to make a good choice. Make sure to order food with medium spice as hot becomes too hot. The food portions are huge. The restaurant is clean and the environment is good. I would recommend it for families.
Good value here. Mexican tacos are awesome. You wont find them on the menu but they make them if you ask. Corn tortillas, beef, cilantro, onions, and a lime to squeeze. Traditional, simple and great. Tacos dont need salsa, lettuce and cheese to be great.
My favorite place to eat hands down!
It’s normally really good... But tonight I just threw away $40 of food and I’m really upset about it. I ordered a to go, the food smelled so bad it stunk up the house, everything was cold, we heated it up and tried it. Nothing was edible, I’m already feeling sick from the little I did eat. I will never go back.
This is the best! Many years of eating at Chapala and they're consistently good. Prices are amazing by food/price ratio. The family run atmosphere spills over to customers. It's really a good find for at least once a month or more.
We enjoyed our dinner. Very nice service.
The only issue I had was the steak in the California Burreto was very tough. I was sure when the waiter saw only a quarter of the Burreto was eaten, he would ask if there was a reason behind it. Apparently almost entire uneaten meals raise no flags. The staff was very friendly, just not intuitive.
We arrived less Han an hour before closing. We were able to order our food and have it served very quickly. You get free chips and dip while you wait. The bean dip is delicious.
We went and ordered grilled chicken quesadillas and got ground beef. Went back to correct order but he replaced our order with pulled ‘chicken’. Tasted more like pork. We decided to just get a refund instead. He was super rude and threw shade even though we were patient and polite. I’ll never go back there.
Fantastic food.
The food was okay. The carnitas burrito was small, and was supposed to come with rice and beans inside the burrito. I ordered an extra side or rice and beans, and they didn't put rice or beans in the burrito at all. It was just a few chunks or carnitas, onions and peppers and a small tortilla halfheartedly holding it together. Queso was good but salsa is pretty bland. This incorrectly filled order came out to $18. I will not be back but I'm glad I tried it so now I know.
Great service, great prices and great food!
This place is horrible! There are much better places to get food at so don't waste your time. We came in and ordered food to go and the food was wrong so we asked for our original order and they gave us what was supposed to be the correct order. They gave us the wrong food order again and then had a nasty attitude with us even though they were the ones who were in the wrong and we were polite the whole time. I will never step foot in that place again.
Perfectly good, but totally average. Nothing to complain about, just not very interesting
Sweet little Mexican joint with nice atmosphere. Food was wonderful. The live musician was wonderful but a little too loud when he walked by to have conversations. Service was fair. The airfresheners in the bathrooms were so strong, I am still having asthma issues 20 minutes later
Really like this place. Its good food and the prices are very reasonable. Its one of my favorite Mexican restaurants. As with other Mexican establishments the food is quite greasy so the quesadilla can get soggy quickly.
One of our favorite Tex-Mex holes in the wall. Could use a good cleaning and some fresh paint...but it draws a lot of locals who are faithful repeat offenders. Standard fare on the menu for the most part...but I don't go often this last few years...since I stopped driving past. When I do go now I order my favorite...the Tacos del Mar...shrimp and crispy bacon with cheese, lettuce, tomato and herbs. I daydream about it sometimes...my one guilty pork treat...😄
I like this venue very much. there is a friendly spirit. The kitcen is very tasty. the service is efficient and the personel is friendly. The pay is modest. I highly recommend.
Ordered beef tacos and beans to go. How hard could that be? The gentleman who took my order even came out and confirmed that I wanted "ground beef." The restaurant wasn't busy at all, only one table of customers inside and 3 or 4 tables outside. So I did not check my order when it arrived. Sat down elsewhere to eat my dinner only to find that they were shredded chicken, and very bland. Bland Mexican food, really? $9 for the most basic order and they couldn't even get that right. I won't be back.
No salsa bar. The salsa they bring to the table tastes like tomato sauce. I ordered a steak quesadilla and it came with just 3 small strips of steak and cheese that was clumpy and not melted all the way. The ticket said it was $3.80 and when we got to the front to pay the bill, we were charged $5.00. Very small place that is not accommodating to large groups. La Caretta, which is in the next shopping center, is much better and we would've paid the same price.
Best BBq in town check out their famous chicken
Food is excellent and atmosphere was awesome.
